Is the term "slipstream" a special term for the situation I have asked?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_(computing)#Slipstreaming

Are there other situations in which we can make this so-called slipsteam process?

Thank you

Yes, that is the term used for what you want to do.

People also use this method to slipstream drive controller drivers into XP installation media.

Should windows installation bootable DVDs or USB sticks always use ISO as the file? I remember one of my bootable Windows DVD was not ISO?

Thank you.

Yes, I used nLite to slipstream the sata ahci drivers into my WXP installation disks, by following the instructions on that HP forum link I posted.

I think Windows Vista and newer should be ISO DVD's or USB flash drives.

I don't know what the XP installation CD file type is.

Would you please explain how I can fix thsi error?

Thank you.

HP Recommended

Hi:

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that problem.

If that is part of the autocad installation program, install the software directly from Microsoft, and see if the autocad program will detect that it is already installed and skip that part of the installation process.

But it is x86 but my PC and win 7 is x64 then I tried to install 64 bit version but it gives me notification: your system has a newer version and  64 bit version did not installed.  I downloaded x86 version and installed but the problem didn't fix.

Thank you.

Before starting installation you need boot-able CD/DVD.
Step-1:
Turn ON your PC and continuously press ‘F2’ button. A booting option from CD/DVD will display. Select that option and Windows will start loading its files.

Step-2:
Once the file loading is completed, Windows setup window will display. Now just select Language for your windows. Select ‘English’ and then click on Ok button. Then click on ‘INSTALL NOW’ button that displays in the window to proceed to next step.

Step-3:
The License agreement will display in a window, check on ‘I ACCEPT’ and click on NEXT. Now, an option to install windows will display. There will be two options ‘UPGRADE’ and ‘CUSTOM’, you have to select ‘CUSTOM ‘options as it is a fresh installation.

Step-4:
This is the most important part of Installation; here you have to partition your drive. You need to allocate spaces to your drive. And to create a new drive, click on the drive and then click on ‘NEW’ button. The New drive will be created.

Step-5:
After the drives are created, select the drive in which you want to install the windows. Now erase all the existing data on your drive by clicking on ‘FORMAT’ button. Click on ‘NEXT’ button to proceed to next step.

Step-6:
Now your windows will start file installations which may take a couple of minutes. Don’t turn off or on your device during this process as it might cause an interruption and data loss. If an interruption occurs, you’ll have to start the process from the beginning.

Step-7:
Once the file installation is completed, your system will be rebooted and ‘User Setting’ screen will display. Add your Name and Password and click on ‘NEXT’ button to proceed to next step.

Step-8:
Now you need to activate your windows. There will be a PRODUCT KEY in windows CD/DVD cover, enter that key in the setup windows in Product key textbox and click on ‘NEXT’ button.

Step-9:
You have successfully installed Windows. Now you need to provide the required information in windows step guide like Time Zone, Update Timing and Your Computers location. There are three types of locations, ‘WORK’, ‘PUBLIC’ and ‘HOME’. Select one option based on your location.

Step 10:
Windows 7 installation is finished and you’re ready to use your desktop.
