Hello,
I purchased my computer in August 2017. My computer hinge has broken completely. I am a college student searching for a quick way to fix this computer before my next semester. Can someone offer some assistance as well as courses of actions that they took?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Support Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Hi,
The original Pavilion M6 series laptops were plagued with broken hinges thanks to a design flow. There was as special thread in this forum about it and it was dealt with the HP customer support directly. This is a different model but it could happen again. Take some pictures for us to have an idea of the extent of the damage please.
