Hello,

So if the test does not recognize the battery and/or if the test does not error the battery than you may have a faulty battery. If this is the cause and the system has a valid warranty than you should be able to contact our HP Support team to retrieve a new battery. This is the next step I recommended to get you to a resolution.

Please dont foget the KUDOS, as I strive for exellence.

Hello,

I understand that your are having issues with your Notebook battery.  The first best step is to determine if there are any hardware issues with the battery by running a system test:

System Diagnostics accessed by tapping F2 key immediately after powering on:

If this system still carries a warranty than contact our HP Support for assistance with receiving a replacement battery.

Don't forget the Kudos

Hello DeAnna121,

I am not sure why you are receiving multiple batter failures, but if you are calling HP Support and this is an on going issue than there may be an issue with your connection on your notebook docking for the battery. I recommend contact HP Support for a more isolated view of your issue. The only advice I can offer besides that is you may have a known- issue. If I can obtain your system model I can check our knowledge base for more information or bring this issue to my seniors.

Thank you for your reply,

Please send KUDOS, as I strive for excellence and providing assistance!!!

My Battery is not being charged and if I unplug the AC Adaptor, the laptop will turn off  .

A white light is flashing and the message : Battery at 50% charge , Plugged in , not charging .

In the start up check up when I check the Battery status , I got the message attached .

Please tell me where is the problem coming from ?20180318_100702.jpg
