Hi @tulablue10,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand the printer works from your phone and directly from the printer itself, but not from your main computer, even after replacing the ink and restarting everything. Since the printer is able to print normally from other sources, this points more toward a communication or driver issue on the main system rather than an ink problem.

Please try the following steps:

1. Check the print queue

  • Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your HP printer → See what’s printing
  • Cancel any stuck print jobs

2. Make sure the correct printer is selected

  • Sometimes Windows creates a duplicate/offline copy
  • In Devices and Printers, right-click the correct HP printer and choose:
    • Set as Default Printer

3. Disable “Use Printer Offline”

  • Open the print queue window
  • Click Printer at the top
  • Make sure Use Printer Offline is unchecked

4. Remove and re-add the printer
Since it still prints from the phone, you likely do not need a full setup again, but removing and re-adding the printer on the computer can refresh the connection:

  • Remove the printer from Windows
  • Restart the computer
  • Add the printer back

5. Check the ink status on the PC
Sometimes the computer keeps an old ink warning cached even after the cartridges are replaced. Re-adding the printer usually clears this.

If the issue continues, please let us know:

  • The exact HP printer model
  • Whether the computer is connected by Wi-Fi or USB
  • Any error message shown on the computer when trying to print

We’ll help you get this working again.
