Hi  @Higghgl

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you're looking to unlock the Advanced tab in the BIOS on your HP notebook. I'll be glad to help.

To better understand your setup and provide the most accurate guidance, could you kindly share the following details?

  • Exact HP product model number
  • Product number (P/N), if available
  • Are you looking to access a specific BIOS setting within the Advanced tab? If yes, which setting are you trying to modify?

In the meantime, kindly try the following:

  1. Shut down the notebook completely.
  2. Power it on and repeatedly tap F10 to enter the BIOS Setup Utility.
  3. Press F9 to load BIOS default settings.
  4. Save the changes and exit using F10.
  5. Check if any additional BIOS menus become available after restarting.

Additionally, kindly ensure that the BIOS is updated to the latest version available for your specific model through HP Support. In some HP notebooks, certain BIOS menus are unavailable depending on the hardware configuration and platform design.

I hope this helps.
