Notebook Model: HP Pavilion 15
Serial Number: [edit]
Greetings,
I've been having some issues recently with my Pavilion which I've associated with BIOS corruption due to the blinking Caps Lock key patterns and a black screen after turning on the device. I've followed the steps from other forums to address this issue and none of them have been of any help. I've decided that it is now time to contact HP for them to fix my computer.
Now for the real issue, I've been having with my computer. Almost two years ago I purchased a 3 year care package with the notebook. A month after I had received my notebook, I received a notification from HP that mentioned that the care package had not been registered to the device, and that I would have to send some information to an HP specific email for the care package to be associated with the device. I did exactly so, and never received an answer or confirmation. I think that this is an extremely dissapointing way to manage this. Making me manually register it, without confirmation.
It was not a scam, and after searching for active warranties on my computer it has still not been registered to the device. I am now in urgent need of a repair, and I need assistance in the steps to follow in order to get the repair covered under the 3 yr warranty that should still be active.
I await a response.
