When I engage my friend's laptop and here the HP Support Assistant software, it says that she has "HP Laptop 15-bs0xx", following by this laptop's Product No., and Serial No. info here, and this HP Support Assistant software also offers to us, that I download and install BIOS vF.23.
...This exactly the same HP laptop model name ("HP Laptop 15-bs0xx"), also the very same Product No. and the Serial No. I can find totally clearly in this HP laptop BIOS vF.22 (Vendor: Insyde), when I enter it during booting the system up (button F10 on the keyboard...)
However, again in that HP Support Assistant software, when I click on Manuals and Drivers button here, it automatically open the web browser and leads us to an official HP web page, but now for "Notebook-15-bs087cl", and here I can find the latest available BIOS vF.74 Rev.A (released on 29 Dec 2023) for downloading and installing:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-15-bs000-laptop-pc/model/18164372?sku=2MW31UAR
In addition to all that, I also manually open an official HP web page, and in here provide this laptop exact Serial No. and the Product No., and this also give me a result that this is a "Notebook-15-bs087cl" laptop and not the "HP Laptop 15-bs0xx" laptop, as it is both presented in this laptop BIOS and in this laptop HP Support Assistant software:
So, my question is, which in fact laptop model exactly a friend of mine has finally, including which BIOS update and Drivers I need to download and install, because this is totally confusing, uncertain and unclear all here, especially considering the fact that if I choose the incorrect BIOS for e.g. I can ruin this laptop in no time.
A very great thank you for all the help and advice here in advance and best regards!

Hi:
In short, the 15-bs0xx identifier is the general model series of which the 15-bs087cl is a member of.
You want to install the drivers and software from the 15-bs087cl support page.

Make sure you read the release notes for the BIOS updates to see if it is even worth updating the BIOS.
Since you are concerned about risks, even with the right BIOS file, things can go wrong.
If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Dear Paul Hi,
Thank you for your most quickest Replay and all the answers, my doubts and confirmations of yours. 🙂
I will most surely post an end result here for a few days.
P.S. In my previous text post I wrongly named Manuals and Drivers button - the correct name is User manuals and guides button, if someone find that to be confusing...
However, the same official HP web page for the mentioned HP Notebook-15-bs087cl will be open if you just press the Product Support Center button in this HP Support Assistant software also for e.g...

Dear Paul and all the rest of HP Community all here:
I just want to confirm that your help Paul was correct and I also want to confirm that I successfully update this Notebook-15-bs087cl BIOS from vF22 to BIOS vF.74 Rev.A (released on 29 Dec 2023) without any problem.
I do this, since F.22 was a very old BIOS version for this laptop and vF.74 Rev.A is practically brand new (from 29 Dec 2023) and fix numerous security fixes to say at least during all this last 6-7 years from the BIOS old-timer version F22.
I can also confirm that this brand new BIOS update vF.74 Rev.A did not not slow down this laptop, as I might expected because this kind of modern BIOS security patches can do such a things nowadays...
Well, that's it.
Thank you very much for help once more and best regards! 🙂
