HP Spectre x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-eu0000 (7K634AV)

Device: HP Spectre x360 (2024 model)
OS: Windows 11 version 24H2
Touchpad: ELAN Precision Touchpad and HID-compliant mouse
Driver version: 41.2.1.3 (latest from HP site)

Driver date: 23-02-2024

Whenever I plug in the charger, my touchpad cursor becomes very laggy and not smooth — almost unusable. However:

  • When I unplug the charger, after a few moments, the touchpad works perfectly smooth again.

  • This issue does not affect my wireless mouse at all — it works smoothly both on battery and while plugged in.

  • The issue only affects the touchpad and only while on AC power.
  • The lag only occurs while plugged in, and only on the touchpad.
  • The wireless mouse works perfectly fine on both battery and AC power.

Any help or official response would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
