Solved!

Device Encryption Support

HP Recommended
HP Notebook bs-146tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is with regard to the above.

I wish to enable 'Device Encryption Support,' how can I do so?

I get the below mentioned error message:

'Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Hardware Security Test Interface failed and the device is not Modern Standby'

Waiting for a reply.

Regards

@Tas37

Please check Device Manager, does it have TPM hardware as shown

If NOT, please try

Note: Your machine may not support at all  (both hardware and software).

Regards.

Thank you Banhien, for your reply.

Yes, it does show TPM yet then why does Device Encryption show status as 'Elavation required to view?'

How can I enable it?

Banhien,

I get the error message, 'Device health attestation isn't supported on this device.' will enabling 'Secure Boot' from the BIOS resolve this issue?

Waiting for your reply.
