ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32001-32500/sp32337.exe
VIDEO CONTROLLER: The graphics driver should also install the smbus and usb controller drivers...
This package contains the graphics driver for the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M Chipset in the listed notebook models and operating systems. If you want to complain to HP about them quitting support for products over 10 years old, you can do so at the link below.
No one on this forum can do anything about HP's business practices.
https://ssl.www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/connect-with-hp.html
The only thing I can say is if they are still keeping the drivers on the ftp site, they may as well keep the support pages linked to them, but that would make too much sense.
I am just afraid that they will remove the drivers too, and then we are completely out of luck!

Hi:
Take a look at this 3rd party site. You don't have to download the drivers from there.
I just want you to do the following...
http://www.helpjet.net/files-HP-Pavilion-ze2000.html
Let's take the video driver for example...the website shows the file number to be sp28484e2.exe
What you need to do is to only look at the sp28484. So for each file, look at the sp and the 1st 5 numbers.
(sp#####).
Here is the link to the HP FTP site. Look up sp28484.
Here is the graphics driver file you need...

problem of getting drivers not solved.
I got a reply from HP once and they gave me a Link to a site where I could D/L without any hassle. I cant find their contacts anymore. If HP technical support has decided to keep their distance- good luck to them!

How is it not solved?
Paul gave you the info to look up which drivers to use, then have you the link to the HP page that stores the actual drivers (not an independent site).
Do you need further help looking them up or did you have a problem getting them to install?
If so, do you have the Intel based ze2000 or the AMD based ze2000?
Let Paul know so he can point you in the right direction.
If HP Support gave you a link to the actual support page for those drivers, we will not have access to them here on the forum.
There have been upgrades to the website and old links/pages are no longer working or removed.
BTW: we are volunteers here, we are not linked to the actual HP Support Service.

HP retires support for all products over 10 years old.
https://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/retired-products
We may not like it, but it is what it is.
Post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers, and I will manually hunt them down from the HP FTP site.
To find the hardware ID click on each device with a little yellow ? mark and then click on the details tab.
Post the string of characters that you see in the window.
You need to be running XP SP2 or SP3 in order to see the hardware ID's.
I don't work for or represent HP.
If you want me to help you, I will.
If not, see ya.

Hi:
What you need are only the drivers for the devices you see listed in the device manager with little yellow ? marks next to them.
What I need from you is for you to post the hardware ID's for each of those devices with the little yellow ? marks so I can see if I can find the HP drivers for them that may still be floating around on the HP FTP driver site.
This isn't going to be easy since HP has removed all references to your PC on their support site, I have to manually look up each hardware ID and hope that the driver still exists on the FTP site.
But without the hardware ID's I can't be of any help.
I have given you the instructions in my last reply the other day for how to find the hardware ID's for the devices with the ? marks.
Then I can just post a link to each driver you need to install, and that part will be easy for you.

Hi:
You're getting closer.
Now I need you to post the hardware ID's for each of those devices.
Again, you need to be running XP SP2 or SP3 to see the hardware ID info.
Click on each of those devices with the ? marks.
Then click on the Details tab at the top of the device window.
Now you should see a string of characters...most of them will begin with PCI\VEN.
Those are the hardware ID's that I need, so I can see if I can find the drivers for them.

4. sms BUS CONTROLLER: PC1\ _ 1002&DEV_4372&SUBSYS_3091103C&REV_11\3&13COBOC5&O&AO

6. VIDEO CONTROLLER PC1 _ 1002_S955&SUBSYS_3091103C&REV_ 00\4&2COD4F31&0&2808
[VGA COMPATIBLE]
tHATS AS CLOSE as i can get. On the WEB, 1-6 comes in different other names. eg BIOS, Systems, etc. I was`t sure. Hp could easily have left on the internet a Link and all the consumer has to do is click on it.[costs HP nothing] 3rd Party sites do it all the time.
IF u can let me have the names -whatever u call it so long as it represents all the 1-6, then I can do a serach.
best of luck.
