Hi.
After windows 10 update my laptop does not sut down completely.
The screen becomes black but the fan is still running and power led is on. To turn it off I have to push the power button for 5 sec.
I tried to update BIOS, to change BOOT order - doasn't work.
Can You halp me?

Tried all so to remove battery and a charger and to push for 30 sec the power button. After restarting I tried to switch it off, and... It works!!!
But, after an hour I tried ones more, and nothing!! The problem is NOT resolved. 😞

I updated windows 29/07 and in the same day was updatet NVIDIA driver.
Than the first update I found with HP Support Assistant was System BIOS Update 01/08. - problem remain
After your message I controlled for the updates and I found some, but I don't really think that thay can change something:
- HP System Event utility
- Simple pass
- Wireless button
- HP 3D DriveGuard Software - perhaps?
After update and restart i used my laptop for some time and once again tried to swich it off - works.
I'll try to use it a little bit longer an write back here later.
By the way, thanks to you all for your ansvers for the moment.

and he problem remain.
searching in google i notice that that problem has allways been after windows update from 7 to 8 and now from 8,1 to 10.
Than I called to HP Service and they told me to downgrade windows back to 8.1 cause I'm the 7-th today who call with this problem and probably for the next 2 months will be some upd that resolve it. 😞
