I think finding a GT 630 or GT 640 with GDDR5 memory would be difficult.

 

Most came with GDDR3 memory, but of course GDDR5 memory would be better because of the faster speed.

Yes, that model is too new.

 

I had advised you that you can't go beyond a HD6xxx, such as a HD6570

 

You should also make sure that when you install a graphics card that you first uninstall the old graphics card and driver in the device manager.

 

In other words, you need to uninstall the Nvidia GT520 graphics card and driver in the device manager before you remove it and uninstall all Nvidia software in the Windows control panel>programs section.

Ciao, ho provato a sostituì la scheda video con la GT630, però mi compare prima la schermata HP, e poi lo schermo diventa nero con un linea in alto a sinistra che lampeggia.

come posso risolvere?

Maybe just updating the BIOS to v7.16 will get the card to work without the extra steps shown in the video.

Sono riuscito ad entrare con la scheda video GT640, ho scaricato anche i driver ed era partito.

poi ho spento il pc, e non è più andata!

e’ possibile che l’alimentatore non riesce ad alimentarla con 300w?
