If you are unable to enable Wi-Fi on your HP ENVY x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-es0000 due to a missing Realtek network adapter, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Check in Device Manager
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Look for Network Adapters and check if the Realtek network adapter is listed.
- If it is not listed, click on View in the Device Manager menu and select Show hidden devices.
Step 2: Update or Reinstall Network Adapter Driver
- Visit the Official HP Support site.
- Enter your product's serial number or product name (HP ENVY x360 14-es0000).
- Select your operating system (Windows 11).
- Look for the network adapter driver, specifically for Realtek or the relevant manufacturer, and download the latest version.
- Install the driver by following the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Check BIOS Settings
- Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
- Navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Ensure that Wireless LAN is enabled.

HP Envy Realtek wifi network adapter is not recognized in device manager. Removed case checked network adapter. Purchased USB network adapter which works great. Suspect bad pc Realtek network adapter.

Hello Hawks_Eye,
After reconsidering my solution to no wifi I replaced the installed Realtek N19618-005 WLAN 6E RLTEK CHAMPAGNE AX 2X2 FOX with the Realtek wireless card N19350-003 compatible replacement spare part for Realtek RTL8852CE M.2 2230 PCI Express WiFi 6E 802.11ax Bluetooth 5.3. This way I can reuse the existing Realtek drivers and I won't need to load the Intel drivers. I installed the card and my wifi and blue tooth is now working. Hopefully it will last.
