Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-r0000 (76T05AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello community,

I use the notebook HP Victus 16-r0175ng together with the docking station HP Thunderbolt 120W G2. When I am using these devices in cooperation the sound "device connecting" is ringing all the time (about 1...2 times the minute). Furthermore the network connection does not work.

First I checked all the driver for the notebook and the dockingstation. But it does not fix the problems. I already tried to use the Intel Thunderbolt control center. But I did not find any devices...maybe regarding the the USB-C connection.

Does anybody has an idea about the solution?

Best regards!

The specs of your machine is

It only has 1 USB Type-C® 5 Gbit/s Signalrate (USB-Stromversorgung, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which is NOT compatible with HP Thunderbolt Dock G2.

Regards.

Hello Banhien,

thank you for the information. So the machine is not downwards compatible, right? Can you suggest me a different docking station for my machine?

Best regards
