Trying to put a Facebook Icon on the main Windows 10 open desktop page

I am not using Internet Explorer--Google Chrome is my default --with Edge and Cortana as secondary.

I have had my laptop ruined with water dmage and although I managed to get most of my data fro the hard drive of the laptop I have lost a fair few icons which I had been using on Win 8.1 when I moved to Win 10. I would like these icons, particularly the shortcut to Facebook back on my desktop, please.

First, open your preferred internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or whatever) and then enter the Facebook page that you want the shortcut to open to (usually the log-in page) ..

Next, copy the address out of the address bar by right mouse clicking on it and following the prompt ..

Create a shortcut on your desktop by right mouse clicking on the desktop, selecting “New”, then “Shortcut” and in the “Type the location of the item” bar, right mouse click and “Paste” ..

Click “Next” and type in a new name for your shortcut ..

Change the icon picture if you want ..
