(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

I have this same message when I press the F3 and F4 keys (that adjust the brightness) as well as the F8 key that adjusts the microphone. I have to go to the taskbar to increase or decrease the brightness.

i have a zbook bang & olufsen if it helps.

click on this official link Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Customer Support of hp website or you can also google the link. There you need to first let the website detect your system. Then in all drivers section select the Hp hotkey support in keyboard section and download the driver in your system. After the installation your system shall restart and you will be able to use the function keys and change brightness and other options.
