SUBJECT - WARRANTY FOR ONLINE PURCHASE SHOULD START FROM DELIVERY DATE, NOT FROM SELLING DATE OR INVOICE DATE.

A WARRANTY FOR A PRODUCT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR USER. A SINGLE DAY MISSED WARRANTY CAN GIVE A HUGE AMOUNT LOSS FOR USER.

FOR ONLINE PURCHASE, COMPANY SHOULD CONSIDER WARRANTY START DATE SAME AS DELIVERY DATE, NOT THE INVOICE DATE OR SELLING DATE. AS WARRNTY IS FOR USER ONCE HE/SHE OWNS A PRODUCT. IF THE PRODUCT IS INTRANSIT FOR 10-15 DAYS AND WARRANTY STARTS, THEN IT IS A USER LOSS ONLY.

STILL IN RULAR AREAS ONLINE PURCHASED PRODUCTS DELIVERED IN APPROX15-20 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE, THE SELLER MAKE INVOICES MENTIONING PURCHASE DATE AS INVOICE DATE. SO USER LOSES 10-15 DAYS WHICH IS THE PRODUCT DELIVERY TIME.

IN MY CASE, I PURCHSED A LAPTOP FROM AMAZON AT 02/10/2024 AND RECEIVED IT AT 12/10/2024. SO I LOSSED MY WARRANTY DATE.

I REQUEST TO HP AUTHERISED PERSON TO PLEASE CONSIDER THIS ISSUE AND PROVIDE A USEFUL SOLUTION.

As a new guest to our community, I would advise the community search functionality as it bears answers for most questions.

 

A quick search for the term "warranty" finds, as an example, this >Brand new desktop already out of warranty?<

 

One of our friendly volunteers explains exactly why this is happening and also shows how the warranty, if entitled, can be corrected using the Warranty Dispute page.
