if they used the BIOS tool to change my serial number, would i be able to chnge it back with the tool?

Yes it's just the branding , they can change

If they have the DMI tool they can change the S/N to match the one on your PC's product number label.

 

You can call them and ask if they have the tool to change the S/N to match the one on your PC's case.

But In my case I want not to change my original motherboard by some used motherboard because there was no problem in my system's motherboard (otherwise i could have said to replace it by new one only , not the used one) still they replaced it behind , what does it mean ? and what should i do now to get back the real original motherboard of my system. I want it back really ...sir please help ...please ...

 

 

serial number, Model Name and Product Id  displayed by system is totally different than what is written at the system's back. (Few days back , my BIOS-reprogramming and CPU-Reballing done by Repair Center as per their guidance to solve my laptop's issue )

2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
