Hi,
I am using HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp012dx, I have known that HP have a function called as Battery Care Function in BIOS to increase the battery's durability by the way it allows the laptop stop the charging at the desired level (50-80-100 %) without unpluging the charger.
But my device doesn't have that function although i have updated the lastest BIOS and Chipset Driver ( My current BIOS is 1.45 release date on Jul 1, 2019).
Is there no more function like this in my device BIOS ? Or i will wait if the engineers in HP help me customize and update this PC' BIOS
I am sorry if this is a repost or if this question was already answered elsewhere.
Can somebody helpme ? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I believe this feature is usually only available on Business and some gaming PCs.
If you leave the notebook constantly plugged in the battery will stop charging at 100% and will only start charging again once it falls below a certain threshold. I believe about 5%.
Usually, I replace the batteries in my notebooks about every 18-24 months as I notice the decrease in the life of the battery.
Hope it helps,
David
