The Omniplus password management program keeps reinstalling itself after I uninstall. I cannot find any file with Omniplus in the name, There does not seem to be anyway to unistall it without it reinstalling itself. Any ideas?

Hi @larry3333

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that OmniPlus keeps reinstalling itself even after you uninstall it. This can happen if the application is linked to another HP application, a Windows startup item, or a scheduled task that reinstalls the software automatically.

Please try the following steps:

Uninstall OmniPlus

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  • Locate OmniPlus and select Uninstall.
  • Restart the computer.

Close the Background Process

Before doing anything, make sure the software isn't actively running.

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
  • Look for anything labeled OmniPlus (or Omni).
  • Right-click the process and select End Task.

Remove the Browser Extension

Since you cannot find the program files, it is highly likely that OmniPlus is installed as a hidden extension inside your web browser.

  • Open your browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).
  • Navigate to the Extensions or Add-ons manager.
  • Look for OmniPlus and click Remove or Uninstall.

I hope this help, I would also request you to please share me the Product number you are using.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
