Thanks for the link to that document.
Basically that documents illustrates all the tasks I've gone through in trying to bring my laptop to its original setup.
To summarize:
- My laptop's hard disk failed and I had to order a new one.
- I installed the new hard disk and everything went OK.
- I had since I bought my laptop a factory image memory stick that I thought it would install straightforward my original OS but id didn't and it caused the P2PP Check failed (my ticket's subject)
- I thought it may be related to my BIOS version and I installed the latest one
- I guess I am in a loop. My computer is working but none of the HP utilities nor original software was installed and my touchpad device does not work.
- The document in the link refers to access from Windows "HP Recovery Manager" tool which never got installed because of the failure.
Thanks for your help.
