Hello there,
This is regarding the warranty correction of my HP G6 Notebook that I had purchased earlier this year in the month of April.. According to HP's warranty terms and conditions the warranty should is valid based on the Proof Of Purchase or the Invoice Date, so when I noticed a discrepancy on the Support website I raised a dispute by attaching the Proof Of Purchase and even contacted Customer Care and provided them with the POP and all vial email but still it hasn't been updated. It's been more than a week now and daily I'm getting a response from the Tech Support stating we're awaiting for a revert from our POP team and be rest assured it'll be done by the end of the day but still the same hasn't been done. After using HP notebooks for over a decade for the first time I faced an issue like this and the after sales support received is simply horrible.
Can anyone please help me out here.... ?

Hi:
The notebook you purchased is over 5 years old, and only came with a one year warranty, which expired in March of 2015.
You can check the warranty status of that notebook at the link below.

How can the notebook be sold as new if it is over 5 years old?
You were probably sold a refurbished notebook, in which case there would only be a warranty if the seller offered one.
Anyway, I have asked a forum moderator to escalate your post to HP customer service, as this is a peer to peer forum.
