Hello I have an older laptop that I would like to use for school, however the storage is really full so I tried to reset it, but I cant log into my computer because I dont remember my password. Another issue is that I cant create a new password because the email that is hooked to it I no longer use and havent used in 6 years and I also dont know the password for that one either.

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

 

4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs nor any other safety measures.

 

Therefore, this topic is being locked. If you would like help resetting the password on your product, please Contact HP support in your region.

 

For cases related to BitLocker issues, please contact Microsoft Support.
