Hi, I believe my warranty started on the manufacture date instead of the purchase date, and I am unable to find the option to dispute this. I also have issues with my touchpad in that randomly for periods of time, my touchpad will be unresponsive and delayed, some inputs are not registered, and while other times it will be completely normal. I have tried hard resetting and reinstalling drivers but nothing works. What can I do from here?

Hello @123285 ,

Welcome to the HP community.

As a new guest to our community, I would recommend using the community search functionality, as it often provides answers to most questions.

A quick search for the term "warranty" finds, as an example, this >Brand new desktop already out of warranty?<

One of our friendly volunteers explains exactly why this is happening and also shows how the warranty, if entitled, can be corrected using the Warranty Dispute page.

If there is no Warranty Dispute Page for your region, you may need to reach out directly to HP support to correct this.

Most of us are just volunteers here.. This is a Peer-to-Peer community forum only

Best Regards

I have already tried looking at solutions else where to no avail, and I don't see any option to contact customer service without paying for a subscription due to my warranty cut short, is there a specific number I can call to get this resolved?
