Hi @geffen,
I reviewed the post and thank you for the quick reply. Awesome and smart diagnosis. Kudos to you for that.:) Please try to uninstall it by downloading CCleaner from this link: http://filehippo.com/
Please press "Ctrl" key and letter "F" at the same time. type the word Ccleaner and download only Ccleaner on the computer and try to uninstall hp cool sense. do not click on any other link or download. Please do not click on links, apps, images or other downloads as this is a 3rd party link.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂 Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you.
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles. 🙂
Take care now and have a splendid week ahead. 🙂

Hi@geffen,
I thank you for the reply.
You can try creating a new user account with administrator privileges and check if the software can be removed that way. Follow the steps below to create the administrator account.
- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC.
- Enter a username, password, password hint, and then select Next. You're done!
Hope it helps. Happy posting.
