I am trying to install anti-virus software on y laptop. I keep getting the we" can't download a file check internet connection " messages even though I 'd spoken to spoke to my provider only half an hour earlier about another problem with this device and was told my internet connection is fine. I have no problem opening up browsers either.  I have a very old wall socket and all my electronics have to go through a powerboard.  Nothing can be plugged directly into the wall. Any suggestions?

Are you able to browse the Internet on your Notebook?

If Internet is working fine on the Notebook and if the issue is only with installing that particular Anti-virus Software, I suggest you contact the Antivirus Manufacturer

Thank you 😊
