Spectre 15.6 - 2020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a brand new Hp Spectre with GTX 1650 and i7, and Windows 10 64bit.

now after I connect the 2nd screen it detected on my laptop but it does not display anything. I tried the same screen with the same cable in other laptop and it worked well, I tried to link it with my tv using another HDMI cable same problem. what I can see if I go to display settings of my windows10. I see the internal monitor is linked to the integrated GPU and the 2nd screen is linked to Nvidia GPU, but I can not change this setting. any idea how to solve this?

That's not good news -- as your laptop will not use BOTH video chips as the same time, only switch between them -- and that switching is controlled by the OS, not something you can do manually.

You mean this could be a hardware problem?
