Thank you for trying to help. Here are some quotes from my comments so far:

 ‎05-15-2020 06:45 PM

"I finally just reformatted to factory install and the issue persists."

 ‎05-17-2020 06:49 PM

"Since it is still happening after a complete factory reset with no other software installed I can only conclude that either the hardware is faulty or the drivers are bad."

 05-28-2020 07:14 PM

"Remember, I reformatted back to factory install after I had already tried to reinstall all the drivers related to audio and video."

 ‎06-02-2020 06:10 PM

"I am on a practically new HP Spectre x360 Convertible laptop that I factory reset back to install conditions so rolling back drivers will probably not be the solution."

While I appreciate your attempt to help, you are asking me to do the same thing that I already did so we will have to try something else to fix this audio/video synchronization problem that is happening in multiple browsers and software, as mentioned in my original post.

Is there any chance that this computer has been overclocked or underclocked from the factory? That is the only other thing that I can think of that I haven't investigated.

I'm facing the same audio and video sync issue in my device. I have [edit] some documents of HP that It will be fine automatic after 3 to 4  hours.

I have the exact same problem. Hoping a solution can be found, it definitely seems to be something specific to this model.

@Falling-Leaf (I see you copied my post verbatim in your own thread so let me know if you get any responses.)

I'm on Windows 10 Home and I recently used Windows Update to upgrade to Version 2004. This upgrade seems to have dealt with the issue in Netflix and Hulu on Chrome. The problem still exists in YouTubeTV but only when I am on battery (actually, it is more than just audio/video out of sync, it just continually glitches out both audio and video on battery) but if I plug the computer into the power cord then YouTubeTV works fine. In all three I occasionally see it start to get out of sync but then it syncs back up in a few seconds. I don't watch much YouTube.com to know if it is an issue there and I haven't test Netflix, Hulu or YouTubeTV in Firefox or Edge.

The audio/video out of sync issue absolutely still exists in Zoom video calls and starts getting out of sync about 20-30 minutes into the call and never fixes itself. It gets so bad that I have to exit the call and re-join. I haven't tested other video chat software. And HP still hasn't replied to my support request from May 21st.

So the only help I can offer is to run Windows Update and install the Version 2004 upgrade and cross your fingers that it works for you in some of the video streaming apps. Good luck.

I have the same issue with the Chrome browser.

I've done all the suggestions and latest reset to factory standards (HP installation).

The problem persists.
