Hi,
I have a HP PAVILION X360 15-cr0052 0d. A couple days ago it was working perfectly. It was working in the morning. I left it and the went back to it in the evening and the screen is black. I have done research and tried many things already. I have tried the following after I hooked up a external monitor to see if it worked on it and it did not:
1. Held all 4 arrow keys down and hit power button
2. Windows key and B key for Bios
3. Hard Reboot (removed battery then held down power button, left battery out, plugged in and turned on)
4. Re-seated Memory
5. Checked all pin attachments while I had it open
6. Tried Ctrl-Alt-Delete
Nothing seems to work. The computer is only a year old. I welcome any suggestions to see if I can fix it before I take it to a computer repair shop.
Thank you in Advance!

Hi JMW628, i am faced with a similar issue with an older pavilion but have not had any responses just yet.
i have narrowed my issue down to a driver, but i am awaiting any help from HP as to where to d/load a working driver. the one on this site all error..
have you tried to boot into safe mode??? this may help someone identify your problem better. it sounds to me like a faulty driver.

@JMW628 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are getting a black screen.
As you have tried hard reset and BIOS recovery steps and also you have checked with an external monitor. Still, you are unable to boot.
I would suggest you contact phone support.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
