Product: HP Pavilion 15-au013nl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Yesterday I received the HP Pavilion 15-au013nl  bought online from HP site four days ago. In the description it was written that this product have a backlit keyboard, But it is not true,,,,the keyboard is not backlit !

Have you tried to hit f5 ? It DOES have Full-size island-style backlit keyboard with numeric keypad

Otherwise please contact that online store to have a swap.

According to the manual and specifications, it does.  

 

There is a very specific key that is used to turn on the backlighting. You may have to hold down the Fn key and tap it.

 

See the following image. Look for the key I pointed out.  My current HP product loan Spectre 13-v021nd has the very same key to enable backlighting.
