HP Recommended

G60-443CL with old Intel 4500MHD graphics.

Latest Win10 (1909)

Same behavior with with 2 graphics drivers (Default from Win10, Patched on someone made)

 

Only lLCD LID closing sleep and wake up results in blank screen. Trigging sleep+wake up without closing LCD LID doesn't have this problem.

 

Win Key + Ctrl + Shift + B doesn't work for me.

 

Here are 2 working solutions

 

A. Close the blank LCD LID again and open up just before fan stop and entering sleep. Laptop will continue to enter to sleep while LCD LID is open. Hit any key to wake up and screen comes on.

 

B. Just press the sleep button before closing the lid fix this.

 

B is easy and simple and I just go with that.
