HP Chromebook 14a
Chrome OS

Hello,

I am having issues trying to adjust my screen resolution and sizing of some images. Particularly on sites like Facebook and Amazon, the images originally appear normal size, but then jump to a large, pixelated and blurry image. I have tried adjusting the display and using the ctrl+shift+ plus or minus and that does not help either. I have attached screenshots.

Thanks for any help, this is extremely frustrating!

@jdribbz, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Follow the steps below to change the Screen Resolution of a Chromebook

  • Click the time, Wi-Fi, power and avatar icon box in the bottom corner. But not the notification count box.
  • Select the Settings icon.
  • Type Display in the search field.
  • Click Displays.
  • Drag the slider to the left or right. Moving it to the left decreases resolution, and dragging it to the right increases resolution.

Also, refer to the document https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/6320705?hl=en for additional help. (This is a third-party link. Please do not click on any ad, image, download, popup or link or anywhere else as this is a third-party link meant only for viewing information).

Keep me posted.
