Any idea how long it will take for HP to implement a fix for this issue, since it's clearly related to the BIOS update? I hate having to start every meeting with an explanation for why my camera shutter isn't working.

Found a fix! Saw this in another thread here. If you open up your laptop (remove back cover) and disconnect the internal battery for ~30 seconds, it solves the issue. My shutter key is now working again.
If you work somewhere with an IT team, they helped me do this. If not, find a local computer store or Best Buy or similar. Was easy to do and took less than 5 minutes overall. And completely free.

Hi Everyone,
Drove to Best Buy and the Geek Squad unscrewed the back and removed the battery. As a result, I'M HAPPY TO REPORT THIS FIXED THE ISSUE!! WOO HOO!! We can consider this issue closed/resolved!!
Happy Holidays!

My camera toggle button is stuck in the off position. I have no camera access. My on/off button doesn't work either. I had a meeting today with no one able to see me! And I have a meeting in this coming week that I AM RUNNING ON Zoom with no personal view of myself!! This needs to be fixed and soon,
