I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your 15-g014dx Notebook and needing to know about the LCD touch panel replacement. Here is a link to your Maintenance and Service, this shows me you can replace the LCD panel with a non Touchscreen.
Please let me know how this goes.
