Pavilion - 15-cs0053cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is the laptop I have:

Pavilion Model 15-cs0053cl
Prod ID 3TS79UA#ABA

I am trying to drive two 27" monitors.  The HDMI port works fine.  I have tried converters for both the USB 3.1 and the USB 3.1 type C - neither works.  However looking at the HP specs for this laptop, for external ports:

1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 RJ-45; 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only)

Does 'data transfer only' mean those ports cannot drive a video monitor?  (And the most I can do is one external monitor, using the HDMI port).

Any education for me, or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Bob

That's true, they are for data transfer ONLY. Please enter your requirement and it will find for you the one you need (monitors, resolutions ...) on market today including some HP products:

Thank you Banhien!

Just to make sure I understand - my laptop will indeed drive a second monitor (in addition to the one using the HDMI port) if I get a docking station that uses displaylink?  (e.g. one of those in the link you sent).

I really appreciate your time.

Best regards,

Bob
