I can not see anything on the laptop. When the power button is hit the white led on the right side lights up and the fan spins up then spins down. I do not know if the machine boots or not. The screen is black. Plugging a HDMI TV into the machine causes the TV to go black. Plugging a VGA monitor causes the monitor to say "press any key or move the mouse to exit power save mode."
I pulled out the battery, disconnected the power cord and depressed the power button for 30 seconds. Nothing.
Is the machine dead or is there something I can do?
