HP Spectre x360 - 15-df1045n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This laptop comes with the following:

External ports
1 HDMI 2.0b; 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 AC smart pin; 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™ with Thunderbolt™ 3 (40 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge)

Connecting a monitor using the HDMI ports works. If I try to connect a 2nd monitor using either the USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A or Type-C with Thunderbolt nothing happens.  Need help.

I have a similar issue with a ProBook 450 G6 .

I had conected an external monitor via USB C until yesterday, but this morning I installed  the Firmware Pack (R71) Bios update ( 01.15.00 Rev.A ) and it does not work any more.

It seems that problem comes from the new USB Type-C Power Delivery (PD) Firmware (CCG5), version 7.11. I tryed installing the prior Bios update but it does not remove the new USB Driver.
