Hi, I just turned my laptop on have and found a dead bug under the screen. My device warranty ran out last month but was wondering what my options would be regardless.

I assume you have one or more dead pixels on the screen
Monitor and AIO pixel policy
Notebook pixel policy
warranty information
dispute a warranty
Possibly the laptop is still under warranty ---
If you did not register your product with HP when you bought it then the warranty you are seeing is based on date of manufacture, not date of purchase. You can update the warranty status by contacting HP and providing a proof of purchase.
