Hi @Ravipareek,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you have observed white spots on a laptop display can be quite frustrating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
- Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause display issues. You can usually update them through the Device Manager or by visiting the HP website. Software and Drivers for HP Pavilion 14 Laptop PC 14-dv2000
- Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the screen closely to see if there are any signs of physical damage, such as cracks or pressure marks.
- Run Display Diagnostic Test: Many laptops come with built-in diagnostic tools that can help identify display issues. Check your laptop's user manual or the HP website to see if there's a diagnostic tool available and how to run it. HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
- Adjust Display Settings: Sometimes, adjusting the display settings can help alleviate certain issues. Try adjusting the brightness, contrast, and color settings to see if it makes any difference.
- Connect External Monitor: If possible, connect your laptop to an external monitor to see if the issue persists. If the white spots don't appear on the external monitor, it could indicate a problem with the laptop's display panel itself.
