Yes I read your answer, I misread and thought you were asking for more specs on the laptop.

I have answered earlier - that yes I can use the HDMI post for an external ONE monitor, 

 

My goal is to have a dual monitor set up and I am looking for directions as to why one of the new monitors doesnt receive any signal. Is this a settings issue that can be resolved?

M2: Direct USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to compatible DP or HDMI.

 

How do you connect monitor 2 ? Did you try HP USB-C G5 dock ?

I have answered this question a couple times. 

 

  • Monitor 1: Direct HDMI to HDMI,
  • Monitor 2: Direct USB-C to HDMI.

 

The HP USB-C G5 dock is a $600 item that I have not tried.
