My HP Elitebbook 650 G9 plays YouTube videos so choppily that it is unwatchable. How can I set my on-battery performance so that videos don't chop like that but it still conserves the charge in all other ways?
I already cranked up the on-battery performance to maximum. ODDLY, the plugged-in performance is not maximum, but rather, medium. So it's odd that I see choppy video when on-battery.
AFTERNOTE: It seems to affect FireFox, but not Edge. The only plugin is AdBlock. I've tried the usual things like disabling the plugin, clearing cache, and trying a private session.

2023-09-23: For FireFox 117, I adapted a solution from https://youtubedownload.minitool.com/youtube/youtube-not-working-on-firefox.html. Click the FireFox menu (3 bars) on the upper right corner, choose Settings. On the new Settings tab, ensure that General is selected on the left hand pane. Then scroll down to the Performance section, uncheck "Use recommended performance settings", then uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available". The "Learn more" link says that FireFox has to be restarted after changing this setting.
