Have a large number of HP Notebooks (14-dq1033cl) running Windows 10 where the external mice continue to freeze at random times. The computer just stops responding to any mouse input. The only remedy is to restart the computer.
- Doesn't matter the mouse type or connection type - happens with usb wired mice, bluetooth, and 2.4G wireless mice.
- These same mice do not have problems with other laptops (e.g. Lenovo).
- The problem has been happening since the day I purchased the computers/mice, with standard Windows updates continuously installed.
- USB ports and Bluetooth receiver do not have any issues with other peripherals.
- No error messages in device manager / event viewer
- Touchpad works fine
Any help appreciated..

Check for windows up to date?
