My laptop, that I bought only 8 months ago is doing this weird screen thing with pixels sometimes when I'm on Zoom. The only way to solve the problem is to push the power button to put my computer off... I don't understand what's the problem, it's really frustrating when I'm in a meeting and I can't see anything. I can continue to click on anything on my computer and pages open normally, but I can't see what I'm doing because of this grey part. What should I do? Should I send it to service for repairement?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
- Have you checked the display on an external monitor?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- Could you please share the "Grey screen" picture?
Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:
I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,
If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Here is a picture of the last time it happened.
The first time the problem happened was when I received my computer, but it disappeared seconds after, I thought it was nothing. However, it continues to happen every once and then, but every time it gets worse. In the picture, almost all of my screen is grey, but the time before it was only half of my screen and another time before that it was only the bottom. There's also one time the pixels on my screen were flashing.
The problem is always fixed when I restart my computer.
I only bought my computer 8 months ago, it's really frustrating when it happens on a meeting.
Everything is updated on my computer.

Thank you for posting back.
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed.
While doing the recovery there is an option to back up your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.
Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows) You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
