I've recently asked a question about my Laptop's HDMI issue. I thought I fixed it by installing the newest drivers but I just tested it on another display and realized it only works on one display I own. This is very weird and I don't know what to do, since I installed all the newest drivers. Could it even be a hardware issue? I really need this to work as I need it for school and work.

Can someone help me? Or should I call the Support Hotline right away?

Best, David

@dve46 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the HDMI port is not working.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

please uninstall the drivers from device manager and install the drivers using recovery manager.

Refer this article to know how to install drivers using recovery manager.

Also, try the steps recommended below.

Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
Select Troubleshooting.
Select View all on the top left corner.
Click on Hardware and Devices.
Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
Check if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps.

It could be an issue with HDMI port, please contact HP support for service options.
