I cannot get my laptop to detect other monitors that are connected via a docking station. I have tried two different docking stations. One Dell, one HP. Both are USB-c display port to the laptop and displayport to the monitor from docking station. The laptop will not detect the monitors at all.
1) Is my USB-C port a data transfer port only?
2) If so, can it be updated or replaced with other software and if so where is it available?
3) If no, what product can I use to get multi display functions from this laptop?
I have already tried disconnecting/reconnecting and updating drivers, i have looked at all the tips and tricks online, the only things i haven't done is revert to Windows 10 because it is not available on this device.
Please help, not having multi display is a time killer.
