HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ed0013dx

Hi HP  Team,

My HP - ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5  right side hinge is displaced and the lower frame that encases the screen has developed a crack on its own without any fall or damage in 3 years of purchase in this high-end model.  I checked on internet and found that this product has a design flaw and this is a known issue in the hinge which comes out after some time. Trusting the HP brand, I bought another laptop of a similar model last year. I would request HP team to resolve the issue

Hi @AG585,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that this is a Hardware issue. However, the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
