HP Elite Dragonfly

HP Elite dragonfly will not display to external monitor via HDMI or Dock station via USB-C ports. However, will still charge via Dock Station via USB-C ports.

 

-Have double checked dock station with separate computer and eliminated wires or docking station as issue

-Does not register HDMI input

 

Unsure how it would charge but not display for USB-C. But any help diagnosing the issue would be much appreciated!

Just to add, this set up was working prior. Notebook was left plugged into docking station for ~week.

 

Docking station is HP (Model Number: HSN-IX0)

It is compatible with few docks on the following list

 

             https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04168358

 

I can't see HSN-IX0 elsewhere. Please check before buying.

Hey banhien,

 

this set up (hp HZN-IX01 to HP ELITE DRAGONFLY) was previously working so they are compatible. This is not a purchasing question but rather a troubleshooting one.

Update:

 

confirmed it is the thunderbolt 120W dock station that is compatible with dragon fly.

still will not work, please chime in with any insights
