Product: HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hello Guys,
The f3 and f4 hotkeys on my laptop initially worked for brightness adjustment, but now I get a popup saying 'HP Hotkey Support' when pressing them. And the brightness function is not working now, but the individual key functions are working normally.
I have checked the fn function, updated my drivers and installed HP support assist. But the problem persists.
Kindly help me solve this issue!
(P.S: volume function on f5 and other keys is working fine, but mike mute on f8 shows the same popup)

I have the same problem with my HP ProBook 450 G3 Windows 10 64bit since the beginning of November. I found out that the cause of the Microsoft update (not HP-update) HP L. P. Keyboard 11.1.8.1. is that I received in early November.
Hopefully HP will soon find a solution to this problem, which will probably appear with many HP notebooks.
Press buttons for the brightness F5 and F6 in the HP 450 G3:
