HP Elitebook 840 G11

Hi everyone, 

 

We're experiencing an issue with Teams on specifically the model "HP EliteBook 840/830 G11", the users see a distorted video from other people attending their meeting. We've seen this issue on 3 different machines all running Windows 11. The Intel Graphics driver version is 32.0.101.6127 and the latest version of Teams. The machines have been reinstalled several times. The problem doesn't seem to appear on any other EliteBook models. 

 

Is this a known issue or do you have any suggestions, thanks in advance.

Same issue here, except when using dockable monitor, then there is no distortion in teams, only when using only integrated monitor and Wifi-connection.

We have a test ongoing, rollback on the Intel Graphic driver, for now it seems to work

Would you kindly provide us the video driver version that works for you? Also, on which BIOS version are you running your machine? HP pushed through HPIA a new version of video driver + BIOS update around the holidays (+/- 3 weeks apart) so it's hard to isolate which one is the problem. Thanks !

I'm also interested to know your video driver & BIOS versions. My company is currently running display driver v32.0.102.6127 and BIOS W70 Ver. 01.04.01 11/22/2024, and also facing this display issue on dozens of our computers, That said, I can hardly understand why it takes HP  some much time to provide a fix, or at least an update to this issue.

Also noticed issue is when connected to universal USB dock thunderbolt c cable to monitors
Seems to be OK when not connected

Logged case with HP.. i have been asked to re-image as a resolution, which i don't think is an answer

A colleague of mine tested to downgrade Intel driver, she wrote:
"Downgrading the Intel(R) Graphics driver from 32.0.101.6127 to 32.0.101.5763 seems to have fixed the issue for me. One entire day with no glitches in Teams. "

Hello,
I have same problem with only this model : HP EliteBook 640 G11 Bios Version: W74 Ver. 01.04.01.
Downgrade is not best sollution. 

HP EliteBook 660 G11 15`  Camera works fine, but it`s slow down by using graphiccard by Citrix. - Solution is other driver for graphic card.  (gfx_win_101_6319).
So there is something wrong with graphicard drivers from HP in my mind.
But after update on more than 50 laptops, event 660 model have same problem with MS TEAMS.
