Hello, i want to ask - if the video output for this notebook could givve me a 2560x1440 video out ? As i understood, HDMI out is 1.4, so it cannot give out 2560x1440@144 (or 120hz). I have at home dell DA20u Type C to HDMI adapter, it looks like have HDMI 2.0, but still i cant choose 120 or 144hz, only 59 or 60. But for FullHD there is option to have 120hz. But for 2560x1440 there is only 59/60. And in the intel graphic control panel, when i choose my monitor, there is a list of supported video modes, and there is 2560x1440 120/144. But i cant to get it. I installed also monitor driver, restarted notebook, and still no. Cable is ok, im using it on my home PC and it works on 144hz. So, where could be an issue, because HDMI is 2.0, in the supported modes i see 2560x1440, and driver is installed. I wish to have smooth working computer with 144 (or 120)hz 😄

The ROT is: resolution goes up, refresh rate will go down. For HDMI 2.0 with a RIGHT cable you normally can get 4K @60Hz or FHD @120Hz.

HDMI out is 1.4 is much less when compare with HDMI 2.0. Your Dell DA20u is NOT compatible with your machine.

I understand about resolution and refresh rate, and for HDMI i should get 2560x1440@144, but i dont get it, even using HDMI 2.0 (type C - HDMI converter).

And why Dell DA20u is NOT compatible ? It s HDMI 2.0, so it should me give out this resolution and refresh rate
